On January 9, 2017, Professor Zhou Luqian in Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease was invited to visit Owgels and hold a breathing health seminar successfully. Representatives from research ＆ development department, production department, sales department, customer service department and other departments all attended the seminar. The lecturer, professor Zhou Xiaqian is a chief physician of Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease, mainly engaging in application researches on mechanical ventilation and breathing mechanics and she once leaded and participated in several national and provincial scientific research projects.

Owgels group focuses on researching, producing and selling oxygenator, atomizer, breathing machine and other breathing medical instruments and strives to be the first brand of breathing medical instruments. For this reason, Owgels invited Professor Zhou to give breathing medical knowledge training and share experience. The research subject of Professor Zhou is exactly what Owgels focusing on and this is the first lecture given by Professor Zhou since she was employed by Owgels as a medical adviser. The lecture environment was lively and cheerful and Professor Zhou got a warm welcome from all participants by explaining in a simple way the breathing medical knowledge that needed urgently by frontline staff of Owgels.

The lecture included rich knowledge on breathing, such as principles of human respiration, structure of respiratory system, type and reasons of hypoxia, application scope of oxygen therapy, reasons of respiratory failure and common models and indications of noninvasive ventilation. During the lecture, Professor Zhou laid special stress on the wide application of oxygen therapy and oxygenator in treatment of diseases, the great significance of noninvasive ventilation on sleep apnea and COPD, and she prospected the development potential of oxygenator and breathing machine in China. During the last half of the lecture, representatives from Owgels sales department and customer service department shared user cases and questioned medical problems they met during actual works, and Professor Zhou provided targeted answers.

In the end of the lecture, Professor Zhou highly affirmed Owgels’s enterprise concept of “Concentrate on breathing medical equipment field and bring a healthy and happy breathing experience to human”. The lecture got a great success, enriched breathing medical knowledge of present staff and steeled Owgels’s resolve to work on breathing medical instruments with a focused and professional attitude.
